Calling All Angels
I am not a big fan of mediums, psychics, healers, ministers or the lady next door touting their deep connection with a certain angel, group of angels or just angels in general. It is not that I don’t believe they do not exist, as I have had my own personal experience and encounters moving up through the treacherous ladder of spiritual enlightenment. Having had lots of exposure of my own and then listening to others definitions of what they are, why they are here and what their mission is; I began to wonder if there is any “enlightened” teacher or metaphysical participant who really knows what angelic energy is?
There have been suggestions since the dawning of man that all angels are good but also have insecurities, make mistakes, get jealous and even get thrown out of the house. (i.e. Lucifer) for being a bad angel. I have been watching a Netflix series called ‘Lucifer.’ Simple synopsis is; he got tired of being banished in hell which was boring and no fun anymore and decides to vacation in the sin city of Los Angeles (of course no pun intended as it is the city of Angels). He gleefully goes about making a point how humanity is NOT taking responsibility for their evil choices and tired of getting blamed for it. And being Lucifer and an angel, he has the wicked sense of humor for them to actually see where the blame lies, within our own choices. Fortunately, Netflix has picked it up for a sixth season and Lucifer is everything you would imagine that a suave, “I don’t give a shit” con man would be.
The point I am trying to make here is we really don’t have a clue to why angels are here with us. Pretty sure they are here to help but perfect? No, I don’t even believe that God or whatever intelligence created us is perfect. He or It is learning and growing right along with this free will experiment on humanity. I personally like the idea of an ethereal beings sent with us during our incarnations that occasionally doesn’t watch where they are going either and steps in shit too.
The old version of the Bible speaks of a smiting God if you messed up. Now we have a version of an all forgiving God because he threw his son up on a cross for us to see how willing he was to do anything to show us how much he loves us. The forgiving part is our bag, not His or Its. So my issues with all the definitions most people think angels are is that they are pretty much filled with the illusory needs of whomever is creating the angelic relationship. Do I believe they exist, absolutely! But what they are? Since we don’t even know why humanity was created or how (lots of oblique inferences as to why) we came about, how can we be so certain we know what angels are, what their jobs are and why they are even here. I personally like the idea that something that is not as screwed up as humans is looking after my own screw ups and helping.
Whether you are religious or consider yourself spiritual, angels have been part of our culture since creation and man learned how to transcribe. There are so many definitions of what angels are, depending on what religious, tribal or spiritual background you come from is unending. But the basic definition of what an angel is from Wikipedia:
“A spiritual being believed to act as an attendant, agent, or messenger of God, conventionally represented in human form with wings and a long robe.” In a recent poll, the results were that 8 out of 10 Americans believe that angels do exist is some form. So, it seems safe to say that believing in angels is not a religious or a spiritual acceptance but an energetic movement there is some type of super charged, miracle making, protective winged beings that are actually looking out for all us confused and dazed fools trying to do life.
Here Is The What the Bible says:
Angels are spiritual beings who have intelligence, emotions, and will. This is true of both the good and evil angels (demons). Angels possess intelligence, show emotion and are the instruments of God but also exercise free will. Angels are spirit beings without true physical bodies but they have personalities. Because they are created beings, their knowledge is limited. This means they do not know all things as God does but they do have greater knowledge than humans. Angels were created as an order of creatures higher than humans, therefore possess greater knowledge. Angels also gain knowledge through long observation of human activities. Unlike humans, angels do not have to study the past; they have experienced it. They know how others have acted and reacted in situations and can predict with a greater degree of accuracy how we may act in similar circumstances. Angels are an entirely different order of being than humans. Human beings do not become angels after they die. Angels will never become, and never were, human beings. God created the angels, just as He created humanity.
Here Is The Hebrew belief:
Angels goes as far back as the Book of Genesis, where we read about angels calling out to Abraham at the binding of Isaac, angels appearing in Jacob’s dream, Jacob fighting with an angel and many more accounts of angelic activity.1 Angels are then mentioned numerous times throughout the other books of the Torah, Prophets, and Scriptures. According to Jewish tradition, an angel is a spiritual being and does not have any physical characteristics. The angelic descriptions provided by the prophets such as wings, arms etc. are only relative to mirroring back human traits but mostly referring to their spiritual abilities and tasks.
Angels according to psychics:
Angels are often confused with enlightened spirits because they ARE enlightened spirits but they exist at a higher vibration than spirits who are elevating. All spirits, all life, is growing, maturing, increasing in consciousness. The more human beings comprehend about who we are as people, the higher we elevate in understanding. That is what is meant by vibration (think about light and sound being ‘waves’). Being further along in one’s life path, angelic spirits are not always recognized in human form. Those who have learned to perceive angels often describe them as being shapes of colors because that is the best they are able to view them from the lower-in-vibration, earth plane. This idea is quite similar to how some people are able to detect the auras (energy pattern) of people. Others say they can “feel” the presence of angels when detecting them.
According to many sources, especially those who claim to communicate with angelic beings, angels are elevated spirits that may or may not have been in human form at one or multiple times. They may also choose to act as spirit guides and often remain nameless. Angels may also appear in a masculine or feminine form by choice. Jesus seems to clarify that we ARE the angels with other translations using the words (equal to the angels) who have lost our first estate, meaning, while earthbound, we do not know who we really are. That would make the human race, in a sense, fallen angels. That could be why it was written that the great prophet said we will be like the angels (who are not fallen), one day. Perhaps, Jesus was trying to help us comprehend an amazing truth: We are the fallen angels who have lost our way and will be restored. This restoration is the resurrection, which means a raising up from the dead.
Whatever your beliefs are about angels, the one consistent thought form is they were created to exist in the vibration of love and light. Weaving themselves down through the dimensions in order to connect with you and give you guidance and love. They find it difficult to do that for you if you don’t believe you deserve their help. They cannot raise your vibration without you doing your part so that you can receive them, meaning learning how to love yourself as they do.
The Terrific Angelic Telegraph: (Got To Believe For It To Work Though)
One of my favorite angelic connection tools that seem to work is when all seems lost in communication with a human counterpart is what I call the “Angelic Telegraph.”. When all else fails in solving a life situation with partners, family, friends, lovers, children, co-workers, etc. and the ego just will not get out of the way using anger, blame, unforgiveness, hatred or fear, use this….it works. Before you go to sleep or meditate, ask your guiding angels (apparently we all have them) to go talk to their guiding angels and help them remember that we are all soul family who love one another and want to support each other. You can then relate the perfect loving outcome you hope for in that conversation. Your angels who help guide you will take the message and in dream state, help the other person or people involved remember. No bitchin! Just loving outcomes. I have never seen it fail to make positive changes in a seemingly impossible situation.
So there you have it. I am assuming I am going to be struck by lightening tomorrow for publishing this and have reserved my seat in Bible thumping hell for doubting but heck, if you don’t ask, you never really find out.
